Condition 95%. Excellent example of this rare Canon IIC rangefinder c.1950, fitted with a scarce Canon 50mm F1.9 lens. The Canon IIC features shared viewfinder/rangefinder window for quick focus and composition, with the added benefit of variable magnification to aid focusing which is especially useful with longer lenses. The camera has an L39 rangefinder lens mount, so will accept all the Leica, Canon, Minolta LTM lenses. This is a very nice example, showing signs of light/normal use by way of a light depression around the tripod bush on the baseplate and some light brightmarks and a few small marks to the chrome finish here and there. Excellent shutter speeds. Rangefinder clean and clear. Nice blinds. Clean lens, showing no scratches or fungus, just some light cleaning marks whe viewed from the rear, which will not affect performance. Full working order.
