Condition 96%. Superb example of this wonderful Italian 35mm SLR fitted with 50mm F2 Xenon lens. The Rectaflex 1000 debuted in 1948 and along with the Contax S is believed to be the first prism SLR. This is the 1952 update with extended shutter speed to 1/1300th of a second. The slow speed mechanism of these cameras is actually jewelled like a watch. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Exceptionally clean body with just a few light marks. Beautiful lens with no fungus, haze or balsam issues. Clear viewfinder. Excellent shutter. Full working order. Rare in the UK.
