Condition 94%. Very rare Presto subminiature camera from The Magic Introduction Co New York c.1896. Invented by Herman Cassler, this is the first one of these we've had in 25 years, and Oh, we so nearly kept it for ourselves to fondle. Finished in nickel over brass, this is a simple single speed camera with rotating aperture stops, a meniscus lens and a falling shutter that operates via gravity, meaning one needs to alternate the camera upside-up and upside-down to take consequitive shots. Condition is excellent, with most of the nickel being intact. Brassing where you'd expect it, on the film advance and the corners. We have delibewrately not cleaned the nickel on this camera as we feel the oxidised patina is priceless, though it would shine up like a star with minium effort (please don't). Offered in full working order.
